Turning twenty is very important. And not that important, really. Yes, it is... Les Ogres de Barback began their adventure in 1994 and, to celebrate their symbolic anniversary in 2014, they initially thought they would do nothing. Or perhaps a compilation of previously unreleased material and rarities. Then Fred went off to the United States for a few months on a road trip with his wife and children.
He came back with ten texts which, added to a few songs that the Ogres have recently been singing live, will form the basis of Vous m'emmerdez! their eighth studio album (apart from four live albums and three Pitt Ocha albums for children). And, inadvertently, it's a bit of a summary of what we've been up to for the last twenty years, as Alice notes, adding that Vous m'emmerdez! is an album refocused on French chanson.
