Di Castri & Falzone & Succi & Ghiachino & Barbieri - Sunday Afternoon

The new album by Furio di Castri's quintet presents a journey through some "differently" Sunday atmospheres in which a bit of Mao Tse Tung's dialectical materialism is compared with the classical iconography of the Far East and with various sentimental and ironic, romantic, hardcore and Freudian reflections. All imbued with major and minor thoughts and dominated by the spirit of Charles Mingus and Frank Zappa.
