Gavino Murgia is a saxophonist and a proud Sardinian. He drew inspiration from his islands colourful traditions to create a vivid, groovy and atmospheric album, which he has titled "LUltima Mattanza". Two long-standing musical partners accompany Murgia on this musical journey of discovery through Sardinia: Michel Godard (tuba, serpent, electric bass) and Patrice Heral (drums, electronics, vocals).
