Today the folk music traditions are not well kept in Dovre, and the musical traditions of this region is not well known in the folk music community. This is why Glorvigen now wishes intently for ?Dovresongane? to reach new audiences in new places. Glorvigen: ?Thanks to visionary people who recorded different songs and wrote down folk songs I have been able to learn songs made by people who are long dead. I have also been lucky enough to meet many singers alive today and learnt their songs directly.?
