Filidh Ruadh, Gaelic for red-haird bard, is an homage to the bards and poets, who, throughout the ages, have written the most beautiful ballads, whether in Gaelic or English, inspired by the sublime Scottish landscape and its powerful, emotional history. These musicians? passion is to steep themselves in these fabulous traditions and render them with respect and originality. They recorded this CD in July 2015 at the wonderful Old Loundry Studio in Glenfinnan, in the heart of the Highlands.
