The Revolutionary Birds was born out of a musical meeting of Tunisian multi-disciplinary singer Mounir Troudi, Breton bagpipe player Erwan Keravec, and the French-Lebanese percussionist Wassim Hallal. Mounir Troudi's deep voice brings freedom and spirituality back to the underground roots that link the mystic ecstasy of the singers of Pakistan and Rajahstan to the fervor of the Spanish gypsies or the trance of the Maghreb brotherhoods.
