Gaiteiros de Lisboa have a new album, featuring a renewed and refreshed line-up and material; they have not recorded since 2012 and their long-awaited new album of original material will be released on April 5th, 2019. Although their name means ?the Lisbon Bagpipers? Gaiteiros de Lisboa do not and have never made pipe music through their 20-year career. Combining all sorts of percussions, wind and steel instruments and the power of the human voice, Gaiteiros de Lisboa have dragged folk music into the 21st century. Ever since the release of their first album, Invasoes Barbaras, the Gaiteiros have never ceased to amaze us and their albums have always had something new. This one is no exception.
