Raga & Blues, an unusual project formed by the exceptional Uruguayan guitarist, singer and composer Flaco Barral (a legend of Blues, Pop and Rock on both sides of the Atlantic), the Bansuri musician and Hindu Culture scholar Carlos Guerra, and the Nepalese tablist and percussionist Navaraj Gurunj, explores new paths on their fascinating first album, a dialogue between the ancestral forms of the Hindu musical universe and the mournful, festive and contradictory spirit of the Blues. Together they form a musical landscape as surprising as unexpected, where the millenary Indian spirituality and the deep humanity of the Blues flow together with taste, naturalness and a very particular psychedelic aroma.
